FFK, Apostle Suleiman, others drag Femi Adesina over his statement attacking CAN

Femi Fani-Kayode, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, and other Nigerians have taken to Twitter to attack Femi Adesina, President Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, over the statement he released yesterday calling out the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN.

Adesina in his statement, condemned CAN for ”attacking” President Buhari over the recent beheading of the association’s chairman in Michika Local government area, Reverend Lawan Andimi.

Andimi was abducted by the sect members on January 9th after an attack in his community and was beheaded by the sect members this week after he allegedly refused to denounce his Christian faith.

Adesina in his statement, called out CAN for trying to paint President Buhari as an ”Anti-christian” when it reacted to the beheading of Andimi. Adesina said the Christian body should not be biased while reacting to such a sad incident. According to him, the statement released by CAN after the killing, can breed hatred and malice in a country. Read here.

FFK, Suleiman and many others are however disappointed that Adesina could attack CAN when it is still mourning the gruesome murder of one of its own.
